Do I have to file a Connecticut tax return?

You must file a Connecticut tax return if your gross income exceeds the minimum specified for your filing status. For tax year 2023, Single residents must file if their gross income exceeds $15,000. Married residents filing jointly must file if their gross income exceeds $24,000.

Gross income means all income before deducting expenses that is reportable to the state of Connecticut. How to pay estimated taxes in Connecticut?

Connecticut Form CT-1040ES is used to pay estimated taxes. If you have taxable income from self-employment, interest, dividends, unemployment compensation, and pensions, you may have to pay estimated tax to the state of Connecticut.

How do I track my Connecticut tax refund?
