The mission of Income Tax Pro is to support the American taxpayer by helping them understand their federal and state income tax obligations. Our database of federal tax forms, state tax forms, and income tax rates, combined with relevant income tax news is a free to use online resource.

Contributors to this website include income tax preparers, tax researchers, and accountants who provide insight, articles, and interviews for the benefit of our visitors.

Our History

The original website IncomeTaxPro.net was established in the year 2005. We moved permanently to the .com domain name extension soon after the 2024 tax season. We are currently upgrading the site to offer more features and tax services. We hope that you will continue to support us over the coming years. Thank you.

The easiest way to help out is to link or share our homepage on your website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, or other social media pages for example. It really does help. Especially now that we moved from the .net to .com domain name extension.

How We Obtain Our Data

We created a data research page to help explain our methods of data analysis and reporting. We understand that the best income tax data comes from the source. The revenue department of each state and our federal government is where we obtain the bulk of our data. Additional data is collected from government legislature and relevant tax industry websites. We include reference links within the text or at the bottom of most articles.

Our Team

We're a creative team of web developers and professional writers based out of Wilmington, Delaware. Together we have been researching and writing about income taxes since 2005.
